Artist Statement

This story follows Augustus, Ruler of the Underworld, as he realises that he has not been living life well. Working at a job that he has no passion for, Augustus refuses to let life pass him by. Although his future may be less stable than before, it is one that he can live with excitement and purpose. This journey will continue as he learns to take a leap of faith into the unknown...

Augustus' story is a reminder to live a full life, one without regret. I put my emotions and aspirations within him. This work is greatly influenced by my personal struggles. Augustus' journey reflects on my fears, dilemmas, and passion for art.
